  1. How to be careful when buying Gemstone online? Buying a branded product online has very little complications as compared to buying a natural gemstone. When someone mentions of Levis 907 jeans, boot cut, it strikes a pattern in mind which is similar through the world. But when someone says SI, lavender sapphire blue diamond it can mean thousands of different combinations of gemstones or just anything. Hence one has to be very careful while buying any gemstone online or from anywhere and get your basics right. You can try Best gemstone shop in Delhi. 1) Very important - Whenever you are buying any gemstone always look for the word "natural" in the description ( i.e certificate). If the word "natural" is not included in the gemstone report then the stone is a "synthetic" material. Other terms commonly used for synthetic gemstones are lab-created, man made, lab grown, lab simulate, lab gem etc. 2) Always note that "simulate", "simulant" "simulation" means that particular gemstone is not natural and is a simulant of some other natural gemstone. Eg. "Emerald Lavender diamond simulate lab gem" actually means that the stone is a synthetic man-made in laboratory and which is not a natural Emerald Gemstone, or natural diamond. It is some simulant (a stone which imitates) of a diamond.

  2. 3) Synthetic gemstones cost a fraction of its real counterpart. 4) Be very careful when buy gemstones online on sites like ebay, etc. Read very carefully on what you are buying. Ask questions and then finally if you are very satisfied then only strike the deal. Remember the "end auction" date does not hold any value. Everybody has tons of material to sell. Never fall for the typical sales sentences like "ending soon" or "just one day left" etc. 5) Do not get carried away by the adjectives words like lavender, denim, burgundy, baby pink, flamingo pink, rose flower red, earth green, mahagony violet lavender, dark denim, light denim, canary yellow, pastel, violet lavender, emerald green, burma red, etc etc etc. These words are just plain adjectives used for describing colours. These adjectives are not used and accepted by any international gemological laboratories in their "gemstone certificate" while certifying gemstones. 6) If the gemstone is of high value then ask for a gemological certificate from a reputed gemological laboratory. The personal description given by the seller for a gemstone cannot be relied on and can be very misleading. The Gemological laboratory certifying the gemstone should be reputed and internationally acclaimed. (For a sure sign of its authenticity check for any international branches the company has). An International gemological laboratory like GIA, IGI etc cannot afford to play with their hard earned goodwill.
