  1. Success Rate & Quality of Service for IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) in the Czech Republic Europe is one of the destinations for in vitro fertilization procedures, with many countries offering the treatment for couples who are having difficulty conceiving. The Czech Republic is one of the countries you can consider for IVF. It is home to world-class clinics particularly in its capital, Prague. In the Czech Republic, you can have the procedure performed at a reasonable cost and take comfort in the fact that success rates are high. Those reasons might make you want to find a fertility clinic and specialist and schedule your first appointment as soon as you can, but there are some things you need to consider before you proceed: •It is worth it? - Compared to the cost of IVF in the UK and the US, the cost for the procedure in the Czech Republic is considerably low, at around 70 percent lower than in other countries. Even when you consider the cost of your trip and stay, the entire procedure is still surprisingly affordable. Moreover, there are medical tourism companies that can help international patients save money and time by providing services, like airport and hotel pickup, and accompanying you to the clinic that you want. •Will my procedure be successful? - Success rates vary greatly in numbers, so the exact average cannot be pinpointed. However, it is estimated that the success rates when with own eggs begin at around 35 percent up to 40 to 45 percent in some clinics. For donor eggs, the success rates are at least 45 percent to a little below 60 percent. Consider looking into a few fertility clinics to gauge their individual success rates, so you can pick the right facility that can make you more confident in the procedure. •Is it safe? - The Czech Republic, particularly Prague, is a top tourist destination that is safe, and fertility clinics must be licensed and regulated by the government to provide their services. SKUL (State Institute for Drug Control, when translated), in particular, inspects IVF clinics at least every two years. Embryologists and head physicians are certified at what they do, with more than a decade of experience in IVF, and using modern methods like vitrification, EmbryoGlue, PICSI, embryo monitoring, and ERA. •Does the staff speak in English? - Not all IVF clinics have a staff that can communicate well in English. So, consider looking into medical tourism service providers that can connect you with reputable clinics where the staff and doctors can speak your language.
