  • Don’t “trust” your understanding! Prove it!

  • Do problems from scratch, don’t just visually review old problems.

  • Write practice essays, introductory paragraphs

  • Explain a concept to a friend, sibling, parent

  • Feel confident when you can answer a question with no help from notes or friends

Step 1: Go over this PowerPoint with your parents , THIS WEEKEND!

Step 2: Sit down at your “comfortable study place” and plan out your study plan in your agenda.

Step 3: Talk to teachers whose classes you are most concerned about. Share your plan. Ask for help. Speak up, advocate for your learning and listen up.
