  5. Anticipate. Schedule conflicts? Sick? • Clues from professor. • Repetition during lecture • Emphasis or change of tone • Class prior to the exam.

  7. Few principles to the process(Performance) • Night before • Study material • Sleep • Set the stage • Plenty of time before exam • Eat • Panic talk • Sit away from friends • What if they leave early? • Materials to take the test

  8. Understand the directions and the questions • Tricky words within the question • “not”, “except”, “all of the following but one” • Key words in the question • Define, compare, list, describe • Multi-choice test • Read all choices

  9. Don’t leave anything blank • However…leave the BS to a minimum • Check your work
