  4. RelativeClauses A relative clause or adjective clause can be used to join twosentencesortogivemoreinformationaboutsomething. Thegirliswearingglasses. Doyouknowthegirl? Doyouknow thegirlwhoiswearingglasses? Here, the relative clause provides information about the noun, the girl. We call it an adjective clause because just like an adjective it givesinformationabout anoun.
