  1. What a good healthcare software testing entails? It is not only mandatory, but also essential to do a comprehensive test of any software program before it is launched into the market. And when the software program is designed for healthcare IT companies, it becomes doubly important to ensure that each and every parameter and variable in the software program is thoroughly checked before it comes to regular use. It is because in Healthcare IT solutions, there can be absolutely no room for errors, as an error or bug in a healthcare software could have far- reaching consequences not only for the healthcare provider but also the patient and the entire facility. In order to optimize results and reduce the margin of error, a proper healthcare IT solutions testing process should be put in place. Various aspects such as test plan, resource plan, defect management, and types of testing should be evaluated and planned before testing the software tool. Software tools can be tested manually or can be automated, depending on the program. Moreover, the tools should be tested on different types of hardware & software configurations running multiple scenarios to reduce the risk of errors. The design of the tool will determine its usability and its performance. The user interface of the tool should be clear, crisp, and easy to understand. Healthcare IT companies usually follow the following methods to test the software tool:  Various possible scenarios of tool use will be determined and the testers will try to recreate the scenarios and test the software  Based on the results obtained from running the software in different tools, the testers will try to identify areas of low-performance and areas for improvement  The results obtained from running the tests will be provided to the developers, required to improve results and reduce bugs  The testers need to maintain a comprehensive log of the bugs and errors not only for data backup, but also to prevent repetition of error in future  Once the testing, either manual or automated, is completed, the testers need to provide a test summary report with the scenarios, results, and recommendations A good healthcare software testing entails the above procedures in detail. Apart from the procedure, use of high-end testing tools and proven protocols will ensure reliable results.
