Delete this and use screen dumps to show things like: • Adding keywords, to find nasheed downloads/specific artists that sing nasheeds, in to the keyword search box, in Google • Clicking search to receive and index of results • Clicking on suitable links PLACE STUDENT NAME HERE AND CENTRE DETAILS

Pass- They will obtain some information from the internet. • Delete this and use screen dumps to show things like: • Clicking on suitable links and saving 2 suitable pieces of information such as, images of nasheed cds/downloads of nasheeds/textual information regarding nasheeds, into suitable folders located in Ao2 PLACE STUDENT NAME HERE AND CENTRE DETAILS

Merit- They will explore websites byfollowing links between pages. • Delete this and use screen dumps to show things like: • Searching and clicking on various information on websites + Annotate to explain what you are trying to explore and the kind of links that take you between pages such as: buttons, menus, hyperlinks, hotspots etc etc….. Merit- They will copy or download someinformation from the internet, for example, an image or some text. • Delete this and use screen dumps to show things like: • Clicking on suitable links and saving 3 suitable pieces of information such as, images of nasheed cds/downloads of nasheeds/textual information regarding nasheeds, into suitable folders located in Ao2 + Annotate to explain how you did it PLACE STUDENT NAME HERE AND CENTRE DETAILS

Distinction - Candidates will use a search engine then follow a link to a web page. • Delete this and use screen dumps to show things like: • Show appropriate keyword searches + annotate to explain why you used specific keywords and how you used them (keywords – keyword search box, search engine, search button) • Show advanced searching – annotate to explain why you made specific choices in the advanced search • clicking on a link, from the index of results from the advanced search, to take you to an appropriate webpage……+ Annotate to explain how you did this (keywords – index of results, link, use of black ‘descriptive’ text in Google index of results, use of green text which shows the web page url PLACE STUDENT NAME HERE AND CENTRE DETAILS

Distinction - They will explorewebsites by following links between pages. • Delete this and use screen dumps to show things like: • Using the advanced search in the last slide, explain what you are exploring for and click on links, from the index of results from the advanced search, to take you appropriate webpages, and then following the search through the web page, using various links, to other web pages to reach information you are exploring for……+ Annotate to explain how you did this (keywords – link, hotspot, hyperlink, image link, hypertext…. Distinction - They will copy or download some information from the internet, for example, an image or some text. • Delete this and use screen dumps to show things like: • Using the searches for information, from the previous slides, download or copy some info…. + annotate to explain how you did it….
