  3. Plural Nouns with Suffix -s • Pluralnouns name more than one person, place, thing, or animal. Add suffix -s to most singular nouns to make them plural. • dog-dogs house-houses bug-bugs • park-parks teacher-teachers boy-boys • chair-chairs book-books pencil-pencils

  4. Plural Nouns with Suffix -es • To make singular nouns that end with s, ch, sh, or x plural, add suffix -es to the word. • bush-bushes church-churches • glass-glasses fox-foxes • wish-wishes couch-couches • box-boxes class-classes
