People who: • don’t claim their profile • don’t fill in their profile • don’t enable the name link – i.e., using http://google.com/profiles/116374117927631468606 instead of http://google.com/profiles/stevegarfield • don’t upload a great headshot photo • don’t cross-link • use multiple versions of their names • don’t enable their profiles to be searched by their names May 18, 2009 | #CapeCarol | 8

Go to: http://google.com/profiles Click "Create my profile” Enter your Google user name and password Fill out your first and last namel Use the name most likely to generate search results, i.e., your resume name Upload a photo to your profile by clicking "Change photo" Complete your bio Complete the section "A little personality” Select the links you would like to display Click “Create profile” to save your information Click the blue "Add more info to my profile” Select the contact information tab Complete your contact information and save your changes Select "Display my full name so I can be found in search" Verify your name Google your name, and check out your profile May 18, 2009 | #CapeCarol | 9
