  1. SOLES4SOULS FUNDRAISER:Give hope. Get funds. Soles4Souls offers a new kind of fundraiser for your school or organization—the kind that makes a difference in lives around the world.

  3. 1 Participants use collection envelopes and a fundraising web page to collect monetary sponsorships of new Soles4Souls flip flops and clogs.

  4. 2 The collection envelopes are packaged and sent back to Soles to Soles4Souls to be counted.

  5. 3 Soles4Souls sends the sponsored shoes to people in need around the world, sends your organization a check for 40% of the total collected, and sends each donor a tax receipt.

  7. INDIVIDUAL REWARDS Soles4Souls is happy to reward the fundraisers who work hard to help us accomplish our mission. Participants will be awarded prizes based on their final individual fundraising totals! $5 - 99: $100 - 249: $250 - 599: $600 - 1,499: $1,500 - 4,999: $5,000 and up: Soles4Souls keychain -or- Shoetalker Soles4Souls t-shirt Gift card for two movie tickets $50 gift card Coolpix digital camera or Leapfrog handheld game Nintendo Wii -or- Nintendo DS game system

  8. GETTING STARTED • Decide on the dates for your fundraiser. You must run the program for a minimum of two weeks. • Fill out the Fundraiser Information Sheet and Fundraiser Agreement and send them to crystale@giveshoes.org or fax to (615) 391-5730, at least two weeks prior to your start date. • Spread the word! Put an announcement is your newsletter, bulletin, or on your web site. Fill out your press release and return it to crystale@giveshoes.org. • Get your fundraisers excited and involved! Their level of investment will determine the success of your fundraiser. Show videos from our web site or from the DVD, make banners, decorate collection jars, and write letters to friends and family. • Make your fundraising web site at www.soles4soulsfundraising.org.   9. FUNDRAISER MATERIALS Collection Envelopes – Participants write donor information on the outside of the envelopes in pen. We accept cash or check – please make checks payable to Soles4Souls. Note: If a participant runs out of room on the envelope, please make copies of an unused collection envelope. Copies can be kept inside the collection envelope for additional donor information.

Donor Cards – Facts and pictures on cards can be used by participants to share the mission of Soles4Souls and to show a picture of the clogs or flip flops the donor will sponsor for someone in need. The cards are to be left with the donor for information purposes. Soles4Souls Brochures – There will not be enough to leave with donors, but participants can use them to give more information about Soles4Souls and to help answer any questions.

  11. WRAP UP • Establish a collection point and contact person for the envelopes and funds. • Verify the total in each envelope and seal with its original funds inside (cash and checks). • Report amount of money collected to Crystal at crystale@giveshoes.org or 615-391-5723. • Return the envelopes to Soles4Souls within two weeks of the end of your fundraiser, using the prepaid shipping label included in your materials package. Ship package to: Soles4Souls, Inc. • Attn: Crystal Elsey • 2900 Lebanon Road Ste. 210 • Nashville, TN 37214 • Within 14 days of receiving your materials, Soles4Souls will send your organization a check for 40% of the total collected. Within 30 days of receipt, Soles4Souls will issue a receipt and acknowledgement to each individual donor recognizing their donation. • *Soles4Souls is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and all donations are eligible for tax advantages. Please contact our office if your organization’s policy on handling funds differs from our standard policy.
