SoftALM Installation & Configuration Guide Install Installation Steps ation Steps These instructions will guide you through the process of installing SoftALM on Windows Server: 1.Login as Administrator or a user having Administrator permissions. 2.Locate the installer file. It is named “SoftALM.exe”. 3.Double-click the file. The installation will now start. 4.By default, the software will be installed in the system folder where the installer file is present. The file’s folder path is shown. It cannot be changed. 5.Check the “I agree to the License terms and conditions” option and click Next. 2 Copyright@2016 JamBuster Technologies Pvt Ltd

Once installed, use this profile to access the system. Enter the first name and last name of the user. 9.Enter the email address of the user. It will be set as the login ID of the user for SoftALM.   7. SoftALM Installation & Configuration Guide Setup Database Setup Database 10.Enter the IP address\Hostname. Example: 192.168.1.1 or Hostname\SQLEXPRESS. During installation, SoftALM files and scripts are automatically installed and executed. SoftALM Installation & Configuration Guide Accessing Accessing SoftA SoftALM LM Once installed, you can access SoftALM as follows: Open Google Chrome. Enter the server URL on which SoftALM was installed.
