Introduction to RSA TRAINING • RSA or Rivest-Shamir-Adleman is a public-key cryptosystem that is widely used to secure data. • The algorithm was first described by Ron Rivest, Adi Shamir and Leonard Adleman in 1977 and it is known by the acronym made up of the first letters of the surnames of its creators. • RSA uses public-key cryptography. So, two different keys are used for encryption and decryption.

  6. What is RSA? The RSA algorithm is a public key signature algorithm developed by Ron Rivest Adi Shamir and Leonard Edelman. The paper was first published in 1977 and the algorithm uses logarithmic functions to keep the working complex enough to withstand brute force and streamlined enough to be fast post deployment. RSA can also encrypt and decrypt general information to securely exchange data along with handling digital signature verification.
