  2. The following four specific learning disorder (SLD) symptoms, which are still based on DSM-5, can be used as a guide for diagnosis: Criteria A: Present challenges for students of school age. Criteria B: Standardised achievement tests are used to gauge the difficulties. Compared to children atypical their age, the scores are much lower. Criteria C: The problems are noticeable in the early years of school. Criteria D: No other developmental, neurological, motor, or sensory problems must be the root of the difficulties.
