  1. 11 months – long - term individual volunteering Project Project : “Empowering regions through volunteering 2  –  Culture – a path to integration / Volunteering a power of solidarity” Mariam Melikidze

  2. Start, On 22.04.2022, From Kutaisi airport appeared in Katowice • I became FRSP volunteer at office for 11 months • Met FRSP team in Katowice and start working in Wola with my coordinator Natalia Germanek. • Participated in On arrival training for ESC volunteers online

  3. Why volunteering? Why FRSP? • Volunteering is a voluntary act of an individual or group freely giving time and labor for community service. • I love Poland, which is great supporter of Georgia in EU • FRSP is NGO, which promotes entrepreneurship and provides services for entrepreneurs. So mutual field and interests

  4. working place • Work in Wola and Katowice office of FRSP with supervision • Project writing - applied for the youth exchange – “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly of being an Entrepreneur” • Project management –administration of documentation

  5. Main tasks • Promoting volunteering to get new volunteers for upcoming projects – from pass system and social media • screening and Recruiting of new volunteers • Managing Blog and writing articles • Conduct survey about labor offices and their services for foreigners in Silesia. • English language classes once a week in GOK (cultural center)

  6. Main tasks Blue Generation project – Project about Blue economic sectors, everything related to the water • Posting jobs on Blue Generation portal • Searching articles about Blue Economic sectors, news, discoveries

  7. Other activities • Presentations about Georgian culture at high school and in wola

  8. Georgian cuisine workshop in Cultural center

  9. English language hour for kindergarten • Present Georgian culture for our partner organization in Opole

  10. Assist in implementation of the youth exchange project in Katowice for 1 week • Prepare and present 3 sessions during youth exchange in Katowice

  11. Implemented 2 sub-projects – The Karl Popper Debates and “discover your archetype – woman archetypes”

  12. Other activities in Wola– children’s day, harvest festival
