  • The Cave Salamander has a special organ that helps it locate different chemicals in the water.

  • Some salamanders make a fluid which is poisonous to other animals.

  • Salamanders have a long tails which they use for swimming.

  • The ones that are five feet are the Giant Salamanders.

  • Many salamanders have dark moist skin and blend in their habitat.
