Thus, unclean CPAP machines might be dangerous, if not fatal, for your health. With time, the machine will gather dust particles, germs, bacteria and fungal infection and thus, timely and regular cleaning is a must for the machine. This all being said, there are basically two ways of cleaning a CPAP machine. The manual technique is to take apart the machine and the mask and clean it thoroughly with mild detergent water and then wipe it clean with special wipes. One must allow it to dry completely before assembling the parts. The electric parts, the batteries and circuits must be kept away from water as those can get damaged permanently. The other way is to get hold of an automatic CPAP cleaning machine. These machines are specially built to clean CPAP machines thoroughly with minimum human interference. One can simply put the CPAP machine inside the cleaner and the cleaner will do a perfect job of cleaning the machine and the mask without hurting the electrical parts. The cleaner will remove fungi, bacteria, germs and dust particles completely. There are many brands to choose from and most of these brands deliver efficiency.
