  1. HOW TO TAKE CARE OF PETS IN RAINY SEASON

  2. Keep Them Clean and Dry You can go outside and dance with your doggie while it rains. But make sure to wash your pet with warm water and antifungal soap or shampoo when you get home. This is very important if you live in a city.

  3. Protect the Paws Pet paws are far more sensitive than they appear. Allowing your dog to step on an extremely hot or cold surface is one of the most common ways to injure their paws. Running in the backyard, digging a hole for his bone, and going for a walk in the park are all activities that your puppy would struggle with if his paws were not healthy. As a result, if you take your pet for a walk during the monsoon, make sure their paws are properly protected. Before removing them, apply a thin coat of paw butter (Vaseline + Coconut Oil is a great DIY recipe).

  4. Clean Their Ears Once a Day They are also more likely to be exposed to ear infections in wet weather. Every day during the monsoons, you must clean their ears with a cotton bud. During the rest of the year, cleaning them once a month is fine.” Pet grooming salons also provide thorough ear cleaning.

  5. Keep Them Away From Frogs and Lizards During the rains, keep a close eye on your dog because frogs and lizards, which can be extremely toxic, will crawl around randomly. If you catch your pet with one in his mouth, induce vomiting by putting vinegar or salt on the back of their tongue to flush out the toxins.

  6. Use Protective Rain Gear Raincoats and doggie boots, as goofy as it sounds, may be able to prevent a lot of damage to your pet’s coat, ears, and paws. If your pet does not like wearing these items, simply wash and dry him thoroughly when he returns home.

  7. Dental Care Is VeryImportant Many breeds are predisposed to gum disease, which can be fatal. Infection caused by this condition causes premature tooth loss and is known to cause infections in major organs, including the heart valves.
