  5. HISTORY Earlier in 2011, under section 2(f) of the UGC act 1956, the university was established by the State Legislature act of Rajasthan. Moreover, Gomber Education Foundation non-profit making, a voluntary and non-sectarian charitable trust, is the sponsoring body of Raffles University. The university has its excellence in learning, teachings, development, and research across various fields. Further, the university functions on the concepts of GURUKULA method, to make students learn from a stress-free and calm atmosphere.
