GENDER WISE FOREIGN TOURIST ARRIVALS (FTAS) IN INDIA, 2011-2018 Foreign tourism arrivals in India with their contribution: • Number of Foreign Tourist Arrivals (FTAs) increased to 10.04 millions in 2017 as compared to 8.80 million in 2016. • Growth rate in FTAs was 14% in 2017 as compared to 9.7% in 2016. • Share of India in International tourist arrivals in 2017 was 1.2% • India accounted for 4.8% of International tourist arrivals in Asia Pacific Region in 2017 with the rank of 7th.
