  1. What is the Role of Indian Women in Business? India has seen a steady rise in women entrepreneurs and leaders over the past few decades. Women in Business are making their mark across various business sectors and playing a key role in driving economic growth. Some of the major roles that Indian women are playing in the world of business are: Some of the major roles that Indian women are playing- Leadership Roles An increasing number of Women in Business are taking on leadership positions like CEOs, COOs, CFOs, directors, etc. in both small and large organizations across sectors like banking, financial services, information technology, e-commerce, manufacturing, etc. For instance, top banks like ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, State Bank of India, etc. have all had women leaders at the helm. Women in Business leaders are bringing a new perspective and helping create more diverse and inclusive work cultures. Promoting Women Employment Women in Business entrepreneurs and leaders are helping create more job opportunities for other aspiring women. Many women-led startups and companies are prioritizing hiring women at key positions. This is enabling more Women in Business to join the workforce, especially in non-traditional roles, and helping bridge the gender gap.
