Ultrasonic Testing Equipment: - Understanding and operating ultrasonic testing equipment. - Types of ultrasonic transducers and probes. - Calibration procedures for ultrasonic equipment. 3. Ultrasonic Wave Propagation: - Fundamentals of ultrasonic wave propagation in materials. - Refraction, reflection, and transmission of ultrasonic waves. - Factors influencing ultrasonic wave behavior. 4. Ultrasonic Testing Techniques: - Straight beam and angle beam ultrasonic testing techniques. - Contact and immersion testing methods. - Pulse-echo and through-transmission methods. 5. Ultrasonic Testing of Welds: - Application of ultrasonic testing in the inspection of welds. - Weld terminology and geometry. - Evaluation of weld discontinuities. 6.
