  6. Behavior/SBR • Yates is a PBS School • “Eaglet Dollars” • Individual Behavior Systems • What is the SBR used for? • Please sign and return SBR every Friday Ms. Needer

  7. Agenda/Homework Binder • Bring to school every day. • Check and sign every night. • Check daily for newsletters, notes, special programs, etc. • Use to write notes to teachers. • Dismissal changes mustbe done in writing. Ms. Needer

These standards are followed by most states. • The overview has five areas • Counting and Cardinality • Operations and Algebraic Thinking • Number operations in base ten • Measurement and data • Geometry There will be assessments given throughout the year an end of the year test.   11. Science • National Geographic • Science Notebooks • 3 Main Content Areas: • Physical Science • Earth Science • Life Science • Benchmarks for Nature of Science • STEM Fair, Science Olympics • Curriculum Night - September 25th Mrs. Fulcomer

  12. Social Studies • Citizenship. • National symbols. • Importance of celebrations and national holidays for honoring others. • Understanding other cultures. • General understanding of use for a map and how to read one. Ms. Gladders
