Important Dates • Feb. 21 – Student window opens to request courses • Feb. 27 – Window closes for requesting courses • April 27 – Last day for a course to be changed • NO CHANGES AFTER THIS DATE • NO CHANGES ARE MADE TO A SCHEDULE AT THE BEGINNING OF SCHOOL IN AUGUST!! Changes between March 26 and April 20 may be made at your IGP conference or you may have to go to the high school

English – 4 units Math – 4 units Science – 3 units US History – 1 unit Economics – ½ Unit Government – ½ unit Other Social Studies – 1 Unit Physical Education or ROTC – 1 unit Computer Science – 1 Unit Foreign Language or Occupational Specialty – 1 unit Electives – 7 Units SC Graduation Requirements Total of 24 units of credit are required to obtain a SC High School Diploma MUST PASS EXIT EXAM

  4. CLASS REGISTRATION • Teachers will recommend you for • English • Math • Science • Social Studies You must request other classes to make a total of 8 classes PLUS: 3 alternate classes in case 1st choices of electives do not fit your schedule

  5. Required Courses - PE You must take 1 unit of PE or ROTC. Select one of the following as an elective: • Air Force JROTC 1 – 375113CW • Physical Education 1 – 344101CW

  6. Required Courses - Computer • You must take 1 unit of computer in high school to graduate Keyboarding is a prerequisite to any computer course Did not pass proficiency test at BRMS: Keyboarding – 510002CH and Computer Applications – 500802CH If you passed proficiency test at BRMS: • Intro to Business Applications – 502001CW

  7. Band/Strings • If you are taking Band, you must sign up for these 2 classes: • Jazz Band 1 – 453101CW • Symphonic Band 1 – 459973CW • If you are taking Strings, you must sign up for these 2 classes: • Instrumental Chamber 1 – 353169CW • Orchestra/Strings 1 – 355101CW
