Demonstration – Hire • Scenario: • Position description was written and approved. • Position was posted. • Applications were reviewed. • Candidates were interviewed. • Candidate was selected, offer letter was sent. • Candidate returned signed offer letter accepting. • Unit lead is now ready to enter an HRA to hire the selected candidate. • Documents needed: Signed and accepted offer letter

    6. Demonstration – Change Hours Worked • Scenario: • An employee that reports to you asked to change their hours from 40 to 30. You agree and need to gather the appropriate approvals required for HR action. • Documents needed: Signed letter from employee making request to change hours worked.

    7. Demonstration – Change Funding Source • Scenario: • County commissioner funds are running low. • Unit has cost recovery funds available. • 40% of office associate will now be paid from the cost recovery fund. • Documents needed: None.

    8. 3. Service Center Review / Action • Service center reviews the request and may contact the requestor if more information is needed • Service center determines what action to take and executes the transaction; request is marked complete in HRA • Requestor can check status of request at any time
