  2. Facts In the middle of 1960s he exhibited sculptures based on geometric progressions He then shifted from making to expressing concepts through various earth works . In 1968 he began the series of sites and non-sites . His best known work is a colossal manifestation of his preoccupation with the processes of time and erosion.

  3. Spiral jetty. The latter involving earth or rocks put in bins and displayed with an aerial map of the site from which it was displaced an example of non_site palisades , it was spiral jetty (1970 great salt lake Utah).
