Homework • A compound word made up of HOME + WORK • Studies have shown that homework accomplishes two things: • Assists in creating negative attitudes about school • Reinforces incorrect strategies • Homework works best as re-enforcement and should never take the place of, or be used as instruction. • Fighting never solves anything. • If homework is incomplete, a Homework Slip will be sent home. • If situations prevent homework from being completed, please send in a note.
