  4. Benefit, Role and Value of Economic of The Plant Generally, chilli has a lot of nutrients and vitamins. Such as calories, protein, fat, carbohydrate, calsium, vitamin A, B1 and vitamin C The main benefit for consumers is as chilli flavoring or seasoning food. Beside consumed freshly, hot pepper can also be enjoyed in processed form

  5. Problems of Crop Cultivation High attack rates of disease can cause decreasing in yield and quality of peppers. The high attack rate of this disease can make the farmers do not want to raise chilli peppers in the wet season From many various disease that exist, antraknose disease is the most dominant problem that caused low productivity of Indonesian hot pepper.

  6. Tujuan dan Sasaran Pemuliaan Tanaman Cabai The purpose of plant breeding antraknose resistant chilli is the consumers can enjoy highly nutritious chilli that free from pesticide residues or other chemical drugs Beside that, farmers can achieve higher margins due to cheaper production costs

  7. Plant Genetics This plant breeding use the 14 genotype of the plant. They are  C-1, C-2, C-3, C-4, C-5, C-7, C-8, C-9, C-15, C-18, C-19, C-28, C-47 and C-49. The result shows that C-15 caused antraknose resistance  C. Acutatum.  C-15 suspected containing certain biochemical compounds that are resistant to antraknose

  8. While the C-18 believed to have a mechanism of physical resistance to disease of antraknosa. This resistance is controlled by many recessive genes which the recessive gene action is different to dominant genes

  9. C-15 genotypes have a good general combining ability, so that this genotype can be a very good elders in the assembly of resistant varieties to antraknose It needs further research on the mechanism of resistance pepper to antraknose that caused by C. Acutatum.
