SFC Gamio is currently assigned to HHC, 4-1 BSTB, 1st Infantry Division as Personal Security Detachment/Chemical Reconnaissance Platoon Sergeant.

Of all the awards and recognitions above, the one SFC Gamio holds the closest, is his membership in the elite Non Commissioned Officer Corps association – Sergeant Audie Murphy Club (SAMC), earning membership in 2002.
SFC Gamio is married to CPT Yadira Manzueta Gamio, who is currently serving as the 1st Brigade Chemical Officer, and has a son, Andres (1 yr), and a daughter Aaliyah (12 yrs).
