  1. เข็มมุ่ง • บุคลากรทุกคนทุกระดับในกลุ่มการพยาบาลใช้หลัก Standard precautions (การปฏิบัติขั้นพื้นฐานเพื่อป้องกันการติดเชื้อ)ในการปฏิบัติงาน • ผู้ป่วยที่สามารถแพร่กระจายเชื้อหรือมีความไวต่อการรับเชื้อได้รับการดูแลตามหลัก Isolation precautions (การปฏิบัติเพื่อป้องกันการติดเชื้อและควบคุมการแพร่กระจายเชื้อ)ที่เหมาะสม • การติดเชื้อ/ความเสี่ยง IC ที่เป็นปัญหาสำคัญของแต่ละหอผู้ป่วย/หน่วยงานได้รับการ CQI
