  2. We’re going to have two rounds. At the end of this competition, the best spellers will receive gifts. The other champions who will compete in the final round will also receive certificates.

  3. Spelling Bee Rules

  4. Who Should get ready for the Spelling Bee Competition? All the students from Grades 1 – 9

  5. The Spelling Bee Competition will consist of TWOrounds. The first will take place on Saturday 8/12 & the final will take place on Wednesday 19/12.

  6. You should pronounce the word in your head before spelling it. Like this Bee B.E.E

  7. In the final round, you will be on stage facing your teachers and all your friends! You will be famous

  8. The judge will say the word ONCE. You can ask her to repeat the word ONE more time. Then, you will have a few seconds to spell it out.

  9. You may request the judge to say the word ONCE again.

  10. You have to speak up and say the letters clearly so that the judges can hear you.

  11. If you misspell one letter , you will have just ONE MORE CHANCE to re-spell it.

  12. MOST IMPORTANTLY NO TALKING DURING THE SPELLING BEE ROUNDS
