  6. Le Carnaval de Nice Nice is a beautiful old city in the South of France. Each year, in February, everyone takes part in the big Carnaval de Nice. It lasts for over a week and takes months to prepare.

  7. Le Traín à Grande Vitesse (T.G.V.) France has a very successful network of trains.Trains that link to the main towns and cities are called T.G.V. They are the fastest trains in the world and they can reach a speed of over 300 kilometres per hour. In English, they are called High Speed Trains.

  8. The Concorde The Concorde is the fastest plane in the world.It was built in Toulouse, in the South of France. It was the result of cooperation between France and Great Britain. Unfortunately, one of the planes crashed in 2001 and caught fire. All of the people on board were killed, as well as some people on the ground. Earlier this year, it was decided that the Concorde would cease to fly.
