  12. Classes of Members • Professional – individuals employed in the IT industry • Honorary – 3 types • Lifetime – awarded to those of prestigious stature approved by the AITP Executive Committee. Dues paid by the Association. • Senior – disabled or retired and a member of at least 10 years – dues reduced by one-half. • Emeritus – members who attained a specific level of AITP participation and nominated by the chapter. One-third dues, paid by the chapter.

Classes of Members - 2 • Students – individuals entered in a university or college whose degree major is in the information technology field • Interim – Former students members who elect to renew as a professional member. Dues reduced for three years • Enterprise – Pilot in 4Q 2009 to make it more beneficial for companies to have multiple employees in AITP.

Do the same for your student chapters • Participate in Region Leaders’ workshops • Attend the Monthly Virtual Water Cooler Calls • Read Information Executive and emails from AITP Headquarters.
