Satyam-POSC Relationship: Objectives • Promote POSC's values, products, services and benefits in APAC • Identify and recruit potential new Members and Participants for POSC and assist POSC in retaining existing Members and Participants; • providing POSC services (SIG) and offerings to POSC Members, Participants and the E&P Industry.

Progress to Date • Representation agreement signed between POSC & Satyam • Press release and release on POSC web site is done • Contacting prospective companies to become members (Represented in the recently held Conference on E&P Data and Knowledge Management for Asian Oil & Gas, Kuala Lumpur one week back) • Started playing the advisory role for some of the organizations like ONGC on behalf of POSC for WITSML implementation on pilot basis • Knowledge transfer to Satyam on POSC activities done by Paul Maton during his visit to India last month • Identified the training needs for Satyam to possess for playing the role effectively.

  8. Path forward • Recruit more members in APAC into POSC • Representing POSC in relevant O&G Industry conferences • Jointly working on training programs and also work on some of the standards initiatives of POSC like WITSML, PRODML • Jointly working on some of the standards related documentation • Dissemination of these standards amongst the E&P industry • Working as ambassador for POSC in making the services available to the E&P industry in APAC region
