What is the Reproductive System? • Reproductive System- for males it is to create sperm, for females it is to create eggs. • Without it the human species would no longer be able to survive. • The job of the Reproductive System is to make more of ourselves. • You can get diseases, viruses and bacteria's • For the males- Hydrocele • For Females- Endometriosis Male Reproductive System Female Reproductive System

  3. What is Hydrocele and Endometriosis • Hydrocele- A fluid filled sac partially surrounding the testis. Manifests itself as a swelling on the side of the scrotum. May cause discomfort • Endometriosis- a condition involving colonization of the abdominal/pelvic cavity with islands of endometrial tissue.

  4. How do you get Endometriosis and Hydrocele? • How do you get Hydrocele- You usually get it by injury or inflammation in the scrotum. • How do you get Endometriosis- no one really knows how you get this disease, they think it runs in genes.

  5. Is it Curable? • Is Hydrocele Curable?- yes usually it goes away by itself but sometimes you will have to get surgery. • Is Endometriosis curable- it is not curable but there are several treatments to help with the pain.

  6. Symptoms of Endometriosis and Hydrocele • Endometriosis- Pelvic Pain, painful sexual intercourse, lower Back Pain. • Hydrocele- Discomfort, swelling, but mostly its painless
