  5. Strike System • It is very important that you hand in the information we ask from you ON TIME • Failure you to do this will result in a strike • Three strikes and you will not be allowed to choreograph in the following semester • You will receive an email from the President when you get a strike and must respond

  6. Strikes • Failure to respond to all the emails you get from dancers wanting to be in your dance • Failure to send the club account your roster whenever it is due after sign ups and again after the choreographer meeting • Failure to attend ALL choreographer meetings • Failure to tell Murano your costume and whether you will use storage • Using a costumes that was not approved • Failure to give Murano a copy of your music on time • Numerous complaints regarding your class from dancers

  7. Plagiarism • No tolerance for Plagiarism • You are not allowed to take choreography from anywhere • If you do use choreography that is not yours, you will no longer be allowed to choreograph for the club

  8. Stereos • Choreographers will be held responsible if a stereo is found broken • Please use the stereo designated to the studio you are in • Please contact a board member IMMEDIATELY if a stereo is found broken • If you see someone who is not a choreographer using the stereo please contact Erin • Choreographers are not allowed to use the stereos for extra practice (such as in the racquetball courts)

  9. Racquetball Courts • NOT solely for our purpose • The board has no control over who is in there and when • You are not allowed to call and book the racquetball courts, you are taking a chance if you chose to have an extra practice in them • If you would like to have an extra practice in the aerobic studio, please contact Erin

  10. Costumes • Last semester’s costumes were great! • Please continue to think creatively! • Keep it classy! Think colors  • Ways to get costumes Storage $10 from your dancers MAX wholesalefashionsquare.com • DO NOT tell your dancers their costumes until it is okayed by Murano • There will be a choreographer meeting at the beginning of March where you must present your costume • Murano’s email: Dana.Murano1@marist.edu

  11. Music • MUST BE APPROPRIATE • If you are unsure about it, you probably shouldn’t use it • Music will be due at the choreographer meeting in March • Music can be the reason why you do not get selected to choreograph if: Its inappropriate Its been used in the past Too many songs by the same artist Someone else is using it

  12. Dancers Not Getting into Dances • Please be open to accepting more dancers into your dance if you receive an email from me about people not getting into any dance • There will be a minimum of 24 dancers in each dance and I will still probably (most likely) ask you to take more dancers • 6 dances MAX per dancer • “Waiting List” PLEASE DO NOT START A WAITING LIST FOR YOUR DANCE UNTIL I GIVE YOU THE OKAY THAT ALL DANCERS OFF THE GENERAL WAITING LIST HAVE BEEN PLACED!
