Battle of Gonzales • The battle was fought on October 2, 1835 in Gonzales • There were about 100 Mexican troops to the old eighteen and 120 other Texan troops • The Mexican army retreated and won • This battle is known as the “Lexighton” of the Texas revolution • It started when the Mexicans tried to take the cannon from the Texans

Battle of Goliad The battle was fought on October 10,1833 in Goliad a few days after the battle of Gonzales The Texans wanted to capture the fort of Labahia, because they believed it was contained with silver, cannons, and other fire arms Bert Milam and about 120 soldiers against the Mexican soldiers Texas only had one casualty. The Mexicans retreated and the Texans won The battle was small and only lasted for about 30 minutes. Samuel McCulloch, an African American ,was wounded he was the first casualty of the revolution

Battle and siege of the Alamo It was fought in san Antonio during November and December of 1835 The Texans knew that whoever controlled Goliad and Antonio controlled the south of Texas Cox surrendered promised never to return to Texas as long as they let his troops go There were 300 Texans including Ben Miles versus 800 Mexicans
