Review of The Master’s Plan • The Master’s Plan provided a road map that is still relevant today. • The TAG process confirmed Oakdale’s commitment to the goals outlined in The Master’s Plan. • The committee recommends The Master’s Plan be updated and reviewed regularly so that it reflects the current church direction.

  4. Immediate Concerns • Brigham Hall -Contemporary Worship -Choir support -Coffee Hour • Emory Hall-Empower • Parking

  5. Pledge to “Park in the Park” Parking will be an immediate issue this fall. • 100 spaces = $250,000 • 100 pledges @ $50 per week = $250,000 • Golf cart to shuttle from remote parking. • Parking ministry to manage parking.

  6. Phase 1 (0-24 Months) • Relocate staff to temporary buildings. • Create GA Ave Entrance. • Develop the Great Hall-Narthex-3rd Place. • Open flow to Brigham Hall. • Appropriate Rest Room facilities. • Expand main office for nursery/education. • Create office space on second floor with meeting and technology areas.

  14. Recommendations The committee recommends the Council: -accept the conceptual plan for facility development. -educate the Oakdale membership. -establish a building committee to begin Phase 1 planning. -develop a capital campaign to fund Phase 1 and future projects.
