Childhood Young Adulthood Presidency -Born February 6th, 1911 in Tampico, Illinois -Served two terms from 1981-1989 -Shortly after becoming president, John Hinckley Jr. attempted to assassinate Reagan. -Delivers his D-Day Speech to commemorate the 40th anniversary in Normandy, France in 1984 -Went by the name Dutch -Moved numerous times throughout Illinois -Saved 77 people as a lifeguard from 1926-1933 -Enrolled in Eureka College in 1928 and graduated in 1932 -Became famous by playing a football player in the film Knute Rockne –All American
