  1. 500 for 2 Enjoy your favourite card game with only 2 players • Four hands dealt • Same rules apply • Misere and No Trumps included • Click to proceed 500 for 2

  2. Dummy 1 Player 2 Dummy 2 • Players sit next to each other, with their dummy hand opposite • Deal 4 hands in the normal manner • Do not look at your own hand • Pick up your opponents dummy hand and sort it into suits Player 1

  3. Dummy 1 Player 2 • Lay dummy cards face down, with the lowest card on top and highest card on the bottom • Spread dummy cards so that you can see how many cards are in each suit • Place any bowers sideways, in the normal position for the Jack – between Queen and 10 • If the Joker is in a dummy hand, turn this card face up • Having sorted the cards belonging to your opponents dummy hand, then look at your own hand Dummy 2 Player 1 500 for 2

  4. Dummy 1 Player 2 • Bidding always commences with a dummy hand • This is a blind bid where the Player reveals the lowest card in the suit to be called. • In this case Player 2 dealt and Dummy 1 opens the bidding, with Player 1 revealing the 5 of Diamonds, hence the bid is 6 Diamonds (lowest possible call) Dummy 2 Player 1 500 for 2

  5. Dummy 1 Player 2 • The second bid is always made by the other dummy hand • In this case Player 2 has revealed the 8 of Spades, hence the bid is 7 Spades (lowest possible call) • Bidding continues, with the next bid to be made by Player 1 • Dummy hands can make another bid, but usually they pass 2nd time around. If they do bid again, they must run with the lowest call possible for the suit revealed. • Note: When Player 1 deals, the bidding goes in an anti-clockwise direction, as it will commence with Dummy 2, followed by Dummy 1, and continue in that direction. Dummy 2 Player 1 500 for 2

  6. Dummy 1 Player 2 • Once the bid has been won, the kitty is collected by the Player – even if the bid was won by the dummy hand • In this case Player 2 has won the bid, and has lead the first card • Once the first card has been lead then the remaining bottom cards of the dummy hands are revealed Dummy 2 Player 1 500 for 2

  7. Dummy 1 Player 2 • The partner of the dummy hand nominates which card the dummy hand is to play (This can be any of the 10 cards in the hand) • The game continues – ENJOY! Dummy 2 Player 1 500 for 2
