Why is it so hard to be great? Why is it so hard to be great? There are 64 teams in AA MN High School Hockey. They all have the same goals as us. Nearly 3000 high schoolers hoping to be a part of a state championship program. Only 20-40 get to. What sets those teams apart? They are not satisfied with being average high school teens.
What do average high schoolers do? What do average high schoolers do? - - - - - - - - - - Sleep through alarm Skip or have an unhealthy breakfast Show up late to class Use bad language Half pay attention in class Eat an unhealthy lunch Waste work time if given it Make choices based on “fitting in.” Show up late to practice Cut corners in the weight room - - Cut corners on the ice Not try when you think you might, or even know you will lose. Skip out on chores or helping around the house Skip homework Drinking or drugs Staying up late - - - -
