  8. Wire Chamberでどこまで測れるか? • 現在のK6/SKSの状況 • 5mm cell size DC • 3.6Mp+/Spill (Spill=1.4sec) • p/p+ ~0.1 • BeamSize@DC ~10cm • drift time ~50ns • t ~ 75ns Singles Rateは? Total / wire 200kHz/wire を目標にすると 3mm cell size 10cm beam size ext. time ~0.6 sec B.S.の下流側はOK

  9. MWPCでは? 1mm MWPC 10cm beam size cluster sizeが1となれば、rate的にも 位置分解能的にも問題はない。 実際には、斜め入射やAccidentalでCSが大きくなるかも? • ノイズを落とすため、時間情報も欲しい。 • Trigger前後100ns程度のON/OFF情報 • 10ns程度の分解能で • Multi-hit TDCでL.E./T.E.をWire毎に記録する。

  15. まとめ • X Hypernuclear Spectroscopy @ K1.8 • Beam Spectrometer & Upgraded SKS Spectrometer • Rateに強く、物質量の少ない位置検出器が重要 • 1mm MWPC • 3mm DC • Max 200kHzに耐えうる回路(Amp-Shaper-Discri.) • 必要なチャンネル数 • 6000 ch. for wire chamber (Multi-hit) • 2500 for MWPC • 200 ch. for PMTs (ADC, HR-TDC)
