  4. Secure metal to the table using a clamp. • Remove key from chuck after bit is tight. • Place long end of metal on the left side of the column. • If the piece starts to spin keep the bit held down and turn the machine off. Safety Rules Drill Press

  6. Used to make straight or slightly curved cuts into metal. Uses Metal Cutting Band Saw

  22. Keep table about 1/8” from the disc. • Keep metal being sanded flat on the table. • Sand only on the downward rotating side of the disc. • After being shut off the disc can be slowed to a stop with a piece of scrap wood pressed against its outer edge. Safety Rules Disc Sander
