  2. Dear MGA Members, With the New Year upon us, that means your 2013 MGA season is wrapping up and the 2014 season will be kicking into gear in January. While the PGA Tour may take some time off after their season, we of the River Hills MGA continue to roll right along. The MGA has been and will continue to be an association that evolves and for 2014, we have made a few changes that we feel will make for a more exciting and enjoyable season. This packet will be posted onto the NEW association website that will feature all event information and a directory of MGA member’s names and contact information once we have finalized all of the names of those joining the association. The majority of events are now “Make your own Team or 4Some.” Also, the “Player of the Year Point’s Race” structure has been revised to award points based on both Gross and Net order of finish for each event. Two Player of the Year’s (White & Gold) will still be awarded based on your accumulated points throughout the season (Gross/Net feed into the same points race). The 2014 schedule consists of monthly events, as well as five (5) “Major’s” – all of which promise to be both fun and competitive for all who take part. The annual billing ($100 dues) for the 2014 Men’s Golf Association will appear on your December statements. Being a member of the MGA not only helps support the Men’s Golf Association and River Hills, but also brings many benefits to you directly. Off-setting the cost of tournaments is just part of what being a member of the MGA can do for you. Playing in just a few of the events throughout the course of the year will easily justify the annual dues. As was the case in previous years, if you do not wish to be a part of the MGA - simply contact the Pro Shop and they will adjust your account accordingly. All Opt Outs must be received prior to 1 March. Looking forward to a great year for the MGA and its members, Logan Kittinger 2014 MGA President
