  1. Causes of the Mexican War Groups Warm-up- Create this chart in your notebook: (Its should take up one full page)

Causes of the Mexican War Groups • As a group using the short readings to help you depict a visual of your cause of the Mexican American war; you will have 20 minutes to do this. • Make sure your poster has a title- for instance “Manifest Destiny” and use details from your reading to portray the image. • We will complete a gallery walk/present these at the end of class so make sure to fill out the information in our notebooks. • If you are note participating or contributing to your group, you will write an essay on this individually instead.

  3. Gallery Walk Expectations • Do not write on/touch any of the other posters. • Go to another poster if there are too many people at one. • When you are done, go back to your group. • Be productive! This is not visiting hour.

  4. Presentation Expectations • Listen while other groups are presenting; if you are doing anything else you will be given a detention • Ask questions at the end • Write details in your notebook according to the presentations
