  2. Rules and Behavior Expectations Blue = Exceeds expectations Green = Met expectations Yellow = Needed a couple of reminders Red = Needed several reminders Parent Contact Collect and save 20 green cards for a prize

  3. Kindergarten Standards: Past and Present • Reading Past: Recognize the alphabet Present: Read leveled text fluently • Writing Past: Write your name Present: Write a paragraph using different genres • Math Past: Recognize and count numbers to 10 Present: Recognize and count numbers to 100

  4. Homework • Phonics Program: • Poem of the Week • Key vocabulary for the week - Letters of the week - High Frequency Words • Book bags • Read nightly for 15-20 minutes

  5. Resources • Imovie: Letter Sounds, Letter Names, 100 High Frequency Words, Identify Numbers 0-30, Count by 10’s to 100, 2D Plane Shapes and 3D Solid Shapes. • Practice throughout the year =)
