Homework expectations:

Homework is compulsory, it’s not an option.

Homework isn’t set because we want students to have to work after school.

Homework is set so that students can work independently at home and show their learning to us.

slide7

English as an Additional Language (EAL)

  • What we do

Cultivate the ability to communicate ideas clearly.

  • Why we withdraw students

To give them personalised attention and learning opportunities in a small class.

  • What happens in an EAL class

We develop students’ confidence in the use of the English language through interactive activities which focuses on reading, writing, listening and speaking.

Students return to the mainstream class when their English has shown significant improvement.
