  • A select group of high school students are GUARANTEED admission into the Nursing Program:
    • High School GPA of 3.5 or higher
    • ACT composite score of 24 or higher

  • Students complete one year of pre-nursing & then submit application to Nursing courses
  • English, Chemistry, Psychology, Anatomy & Physiology at a “C” level or above required
  • Minimum grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4 point scale) required
  • Non-Guaranteed: compete for remaining spaces in class

    • Difficulty with ACT/SAT standardized exams indicates weakness in this area
    • Nursing tests are in this format to prepare for Nursing Board Exam
    • Identify students with a “gap” between GPA & test scores – need to repair this prior to entering a nursing progam!
