  2. TD Program Profile • 2.8 Million Trips Provided in 2010/11 • 63% through PSTA bus passes • Others were mostly agency group trips • Contracted door-to-door trips are rest • 18% of passengers are elderly • 36% of trips are medical related • 36% of trips are employment related

  3. Transportation Disadvantaged • Pinellas County address • Household Income at or below 150% of poverty • No access to ride/transportation • 31-day bus pass $8.25 • 10-day pass $5.00 • Door-to-Door $3.00 • Group Trip $0

Eligibility Documentation • Sign 4-page application to self-certify that live in Pinellas County and no other transportation is available for life-sustaining trips • Proof of Household Income required, such as Access Florida benefits (Food Stamps, AFDC….) • Door-to-Door trips primarily for work trips outside of bus hours & areas or medical trips when doctor states will be unable to use bus • Annual eligibility re-certification

Paratransit & Deviated Fixed Route ADA & TD Paratransit Deviated Fixed Route Local Bus Fare or TD Bus Pass Flag Stop OR Curb-to-Curb Called North County Connector, serving hard-to-reach areas All can Reserve 2 hours ahead Operated in-house using Low-Floor Cut-Awayswith 2 large wheelchair positions, ADA Ramp, 16 Passenger Capacity • ADA =$4/trip; TD =$3/trip • Door-to-Door • Reserve by: ADA = 5 PM Prior Day; TD=3 days prior • Reserved & Performed by taxi & lift van contractors • ADA = bus hours & areas; TD = 24/7 countywide

  9. 2 Full Ttime Equivalents + Job Integration for Many • TD & ADA Applications, Eligibility Criteria& Usage Rules mostly from website and PSTA’s existing Customer Service staff • 1 staff does only TD Bus Pass eligibility determination, trouble-shooting, and preparing CTD Invoices • 1 staff 50% TD letters, 50% ADA • 1 staff 20% TD, 20% ADA, 60% Connector • 1 staff is lead with contractors: 80% ADA, 20% TD • 1 staff does CTC Site Visits & TD A/P = 10%; 90% ADA • I do Mgmt.: CTC + TD = 50%, ADA = 50%
