TriRivers Health Partners Located in Rockford, IL TriRivers Health Partners is a unique joint venture Healthcare IT organization jointly sponsored by SwedishAmerican Health System in Rockford, IL and FHN in Freeport, IL. TriRivers Health Partners supports over 5000 users across more than 50 locations in 13 Northern and Northwestern Illinois counties and 2 Southwestern Wisconsin counties. We employ an Office of the CIO shared staffing structure with approximately 60 FTE’s shared between the two organizations, in addition there is a high level Data Management Team consisting of three Data Management Analysts who provide development and support of the use of Data Repository and Warehouse tools with scorecard tool development. The Data Management Team also supports interfaces, Web and SharePoint Development, and other high level programming development. Major applications include MEDITECH at both sites currently being converted to client-server and the EpicCare EMR for Physician practices. Data Centers exist for both hosting and backup purposes and are connected via a 28 mile, 10 Gig fiber backbone. TriLightNET TeleHealth Communications is a whole owned regional fiber optic holding company that controls over 200 miles of private fiber optics in Northern and Northwestern Illinois. TriLightNET is strategically affiliated with Northern Illinois University and is a sponsor of the Illinois Rural HealthNet Coalition who are operating under a $22 million dollar FCC grant program to deploy high speed broadband connections to every rural health care entity in Illinois.
