  4. Goals & Statistics • All Red Cross programs and activities are guided by the Fundamental Principles of: • Humanity, • Impartiality, • Neutrality, • Independence, • Voluntary Service, • Unity and Universality. • These principles allow us to provide help immediately to whoever needs it, wherever they are, whatever their race, political beliefs, religion, social status, or culture.

  5. Goals & Statistics • More than 30,000 of those that we assist each year are Canadian’s • They have been affected by: • House fires, forest fires, major storms, floods and other disasters.

  7. Donation & Participation • Each year, through the help of donations, over 2.2 million Canadians rely on the Canadian Red Cross for assistance, training and education. • And as climate change related disasters intensify in quantity and severity, donations to help support the work of the Canadian Red Cross are more important than ever.

  8. Donation & Participation • Your donations go to those in need: • providing safe shelter, • healthy food, • clothing • and most importantly hope. • When you give generously you help us assist those in need across Canada. The change begins with you.
